About Us
Three Trades. One Accountable Team.
Meet Rice Brothers — a single-source design-build mechanical contractor for Greater Houston. HVAC, plumbing & electrical under one roof.
Our story
A mechanical contractor built differently.
Rice Brothers Mechanical was founded on a simple idea: complex mechanical projects shouldn't require juggling four separate contractors. By combining HVAC, plumbing, and electrical under one roof — backed by real industrial construction and engineering capability — we deliver complete systems with a single point of accountability.
Led by owner Andrew Rice, our team brings industrial-grade precision and project management to every job — whether it's a homeowner's furnace or a developer's ground-up build across Greater Houston. The result is fewer surprises, tighter timelines, and systems engineered to perform for the long haul.
We're a family-owned, locally operated team. That means the person who answers the phone is accountable for the work — no call centers, no runaround.
One team. Every system. Built to last.

The standards behind every job.
Capability sets the ceiling; standards hold the floor. These four commitments shape how we scope, build, and stand behind every system we install.
Single Source
HVAC, plumbing, and electrical under one contract. One number to call and one team that owns the outcome from first drawing to final sign-off.
Engineering First
In-house design and engineering means every system is sized and specced right before installation — never improvised on site.
Family-Owned
Locally owned and operated. We treat every project like it's in our own home — with honest pricing and straight answers.
Built to Last
Industrial-grade standards on every job, backed by workmanship guarantees and manufacturer warranties.
The Rice Brothers difference
One accountable partner, start to finish.
Most projects bounce between separate HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors — and the gaps cost time and money. We do it all under one contract, backed by real industrial construction and engineering capability.
Design
In-house engineering sizes and specs every system — HVAC loads, plumbing, and electrical — before a single tool comes out.
Build
Industrial-grade fabrication and project management keep complex builds on schedule and on budget, at any scale.
Install
Certified technicians install and commission to code — one crew coordinating every trade so nothing falls through the cracks.
Service
Ongoing maintenance and 24/7 emergency response from the same team that built it. We know your system because we engineered it.
